MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player within the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN which was his debut long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. He then was a part of Ozuna on their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. The following year, Dopamina was his follow-up album. Later, in 2021, the singer sang a duet 2021 with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, featuring the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His parents and brothers were also musicians. In interviews, Turizo stated that music is essential. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as an infant. While his initial career choice was becoming a vet, His brother Julian advised him to go for singing lessons with a Cuban teacher and the end outcome of discovering his talents in the field of singing changed his entire life.
