Elizabeth Gillies (born Elizabeth Gillis) is an American actress, singer and song writer. Her most notable performances include Lucy in the musical 13 and Jade West on Nickelodeon's sictom Victorious. Her first job was in the field of the field of advertising. She made her first TV appearance on The Black Donnellys (2007). In the Nickelodeon show Victorious the actress played Jade West between 2010 and 2013. In recognition of her role in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere, she received a Critics Choice Movie Award nomination in 2010. She received an award called a Spotlight Award by the Hollywood thriller Fest in 2011 for playing the lead role for the character of Super 8. The actress then played the leading role in comedy We Bought a Zoo (2011 and Ginger & Rosa 2012) in addition to playing Princess Aurora in fantasy films Maleficent (2014 and Maleficent Misstress of Evil (2014 - Maleficent Mistress of Evil -).
